Vintage Embroidery Monday – Tulip Section 2b

Has spring come to your area of the world yet?  If not we know it can’t be far away and maybe you can get some of that spring time feeling by putting all the Tulip patterns that I’ve posted over the past four weeks along with today’s section to create a beautiful Tulip Luncheon Cloth.

The original Workbasket pattern was designed to have Sections 1 a,b, c and Section 2 a & b centered along each side of a 36″ square luncheon cloth (small table cloth.)

This pattern is available as a pdf here.

Next week, I’ll post the final small tulip pattern so that you can make matching napkins to go with the Tulip Luncheon Cloth.

Thank you! Love these tulips – mine aren’t up yet! Well, the leaves are up, but only two tiny buds, so far. Spring was here for 4 days and now we’ll go back to winter again for a few days … not long, I hope! It was 78 yesterday! Loved it.

We had some more snow over the weekend but it’s melted away fairly quickly. Saw the first robin today, so that’s a good sign!
