Sue, I’m in the process of making a bunch of these for neighbour gifts for Christmas in our condo complex – I need 40. 🙂 The biggest challenge has been finding wrapped candy to use since I didn’t want to use Halloween treats. Fortunately at the grocery store this past weekend my fella spotted some wrapped mini candy canes that are perfect. Thanks for the idea.

Such a cute idea to use up that candy. We had three kids come to our door, so there’s a bit of candy left. Thanks for the idea!

There is never any such thing as left over sweets in this house! We bought in bags of chocolates just in case, but didn’t have any visitors on Halloween so we are steadily working our way through them instead 🙂

Great idea, but I strongly suspect that they wouldn’t last until Christmas (at least not in my house!!). The only way I could do it would be if I were to put Mars Bars in there – I hate them, so wouldn’t be tempted.

I get the impression that in some households, it would be the “hiding away” that would be the tricky bit!

That’s a great idea! You’d have to be faster than that, though. I already ATE the leftovers! LOL Still, there’s more where that came from, right?
