Vintage Embroidery Monday – Lilacs and Small Stem of Flowers

Last week I shared with you the butterfly pattern I used to make a sachet for an ill friend.  I had also embroidered the back of the sachet with flowers and leaves.

The pattern I used is from a separate Workbasket pattern sheet which I’m sharing with you today.   You might notice that I reversed the pattern for the flowers and leaves.

Also contained on this page is the pattern for a pretty branch of lilacs.  I will definitely be using it on something in the future as lilacs are one of my all time favourite flowers.
