This next two part pattern reminds me of fall back when I was a teenager. On those last days before the long Alberta winter set in I would go for walks with my dog, Patches and we would sometimes flush out a ring neck pheasant from the tall grasses.

Next Monday is Thanksgiving here in Canada and I’ll be taking the day off to celebrate with family. The second half of this pattern will be posted on October 21st.

October 7, 2013 11:43 amI love this pattern. We have a family of pheasants living at the bottom of our garden and they are the most glorious of birds, well the males are anyway 🙂
