WIP Wednesday – Writing Tote and Small Projects

WIP Wednesday – Writing Tote and Small Projects

I’ve got three projects that I’m working on today.

The front, back, sides and bottom of my writing tote are cut out, sewn together and ready to add interfacing.

Then I’ll be deciding what pockets I want to add to the lining and get the lining together.

I’m also in the process of writing a tutorial to make one of these:

Praire Point Star Ornament

Given the Pincushion Parade I posted yesterday and the fact there’s a needle stuck in it, you might be tempted to think I’m making a new pincushion but it’s actually a Prairie Point Star Ornament.

And when I need a bit of a break from those two projects, I’m stitching the name on this embroidered gift tag.

One of the ladies I follow on Instagram posted that there are only 106 days until Christmas.   Where has the year gone!!

What are you working on today?

I would be so pleased if you chose to share by clicking on one of the buttons below!

What a sweet little ornament – and a great way to stash bust too. I love it! Only 106 days? Oh oh – I had better get busy then!!

I love that fabric for your writing tote – very striking. I don’t know about you but I usually get very involved in making the pockets, I like to have so many, and that is usually what takes the longest time making a bag for me! Very interesting Christmas decoration. I do like red embroidery, especially for Christmas.

I am being good at the moment and today have actually been stitching my cross stitch sampler which I picked up again after joining your linky party recently. I wasn’t ready to post on Monday this week and missed the join up but my progress is on my blog.

I do have some Christmas stitching which I started earlier in the year which I try to show next time.

Cute fabric for your tote bag. Now I need to go look at the pincushions.
